Position Summary Assured Guaranty is seeking to hire a Product Software Developer to join our Secondary Market team. As a member of our group, you will work closely with business analysts, product owners, and other engineers to build front-ends for advanced products powered by data, AI or advanced analytics that will scale our Secondary Market business operations. We are looking for someone with a passion for technology, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous learning and collaboration. Job Responsibilities Help design, develop, or maintain scalable business products. Build responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular), HTML, and CSS. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote best practices. Debug issues, fix defects, and optimize application performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver products that meet business needs. Work with IT partners to ensure application security, reliability, and scalability. Document processes, configurations, and technical decisions. Candidate Background & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field. Minimum 3.0 GPA (if recent graduate). Proven experience in front-end development. Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and present assignments concisely and accurately. Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently, maintaining accountability over assigned tasks. Excellent organizational and time management skills. The salary for the position is expected to be from $30 per hour to $32 per hour. The actual salary will depend on various factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience and credentials, salary expectations of applicable candidates, and other applicable market conditions. This position provides a weekly all-firm catered breakfast and lunch (Tuesday and Wednesday) as well as intern-specific meals and events. Note: Housing stipend may be available for interns who will be residing outside of the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut) for the duration of the summer internship program (June 8 – July 30).
