As drones transform the character of warfare, Neros is delivering the systems the West needs to compete on the modern battlefield and deter the adversaries of democracy. We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.

What you will be doing

As a Production Supervisor, you will be leading day-to-day operations of a production assembly line - owning output, quality, safety, and team performance. You'll be the first line of leadership on the floor, keeping the line running to plan and building the team as we scale.

Responsibilities

  • Production Execution

  • Run daily line operations: startup, staffing, shift flow

  • Hit daily/weekly output targets to takt time

  • Manage line balancing & work assignments

  • Escalate and resolve line-down issues fast

  • Coordinate material availability with logistics/warehouse

  • Team Leadership

  • Supervise assembly technicians: scheduling, attendance, coverage

  • Train and cross-train operators; maintain skills matrix

  • Conduct performance feedback & coaching

  • Support hiring and onboarding of new technicians

  • Foster accountability and a strong floor culture

  • Quality

  • Enforce work instructions & build standards

  • Drive first-pass yield; contain and disposition defects

  • Support root cause & corrective actions with quality/engineering

  • Uphold process discipline: no undocumented workarounds

  • Continuous Improvement

  • Track and report line metrics: output, cycle time, scrap/rework

  • Identify bottlenecks and drive throughput improvements

  • Lead 5S and daily tier/standup meetings

  • Partner with manufacturing engineering on process changes

  • Safety

  • Enforce PPE, ergonomics, and safe work practices

  • Report and support investigation of incidents & near-misses

  • Maintain a clean, organized, audit-ready line

You should have the following

  • 3+ years in manufacturing/assembly operations

  • 1+ years supervising or leading production teams

  • Working knowledge of lean fundamentals: takt time, 5S, standard work

  • Comfortable with production data: output tracking, basic metrics

  • Strong floor presence; thrives in fast-paced environments

Nice to Have

  • Electronics or electromechanical assembly experience

  • MES/ERP experience

  • Startup or high-growth manufacturing background

  • Experience standing up new lines or scaling output

US Salary Range

$39/hr - $43/hr USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.
