We are currently recruiting for a Production Team Leader at our fresh potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.

Shift & Hours of work: 4 days on, 4 days off - Rolling Shift / 06:00hrs to 18:00hrs

Salary: £14.49 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production activities and manage the team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety standards while enforcing quality control measures throughout the production process.
  • Deliver training to your team to ensure understanding of requirement and processes.
  • Collaborate with management to monitor production metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Encourage open communication, providing feedback and support to team members.
  • Conduct problem-solving initiatives to address any operational challenges efficiently.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality assurance, and safety regulations.
  • Effective leadership skills, with a proven ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to enhance production efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills to build rapport with team members and management.
  • Ability to remain calm in a busy Production environment
