The four permanent roles are part of Aarhus University's expansion of research-based innovation. Appointees will be affiliated with the Faculty of Natural Sciences department that best matches their scientific profile and are expected to develop innovation activities, bridge research with external partners, contribute to teaching and supervision, and help build an innovation culture. The expected start is 1 April 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Requirements & qualifications
The university seeks recognized researchers or experienced innovation professionals from academia, research-intensive industry, startups or similar environments. The profile emphasizes a strong research record, demonstrated research-based innovation such as commercialization, entrepreneurship, external alliances or co-creation, a clear innovation vision, teaching and supervision contribution, leadership capacity, collaboration and network-building. Research management, interdisciplinary collaboration and external innovation funding experience are advantages.
