Program Manager, Audiobooks

We're looking for a Program Manager to drive large-scale, cross-functional programs across Spotify's Books Vertical. You'll work across engineering, product, design, content, legal, and marketing to keep complex initiatives moving — setting up execution frameworks, surfacing risks early, and making sure the right people have the right information at the right time. This is a high-visibility role for someone who brings operational rigor, strong relationships, and a bias for getting things done.

Set up and own execution frameworks for large, multi-workstream programs — including operating cadences, documentation, rituals, and communication structures Work closely with engineering, product, design, and marketing teams to define roadmaps and clearly map out cross-functional dependencies Drive day-to-day program operations, facilitating coordination and collaboration across a wide range of partners and stakeholders Communicate program health, risks, scope changes, and progress to all relevant parties through clear, consistent reporting to senior leadership Drive decision-making and alignment with senior leadership, influencing without formal authority Proactively identify blockers, risks, and critical path issues — and drive them to resolution before they impact timelines Be the energy — you’ll set the tone, keep things fun, and help cultivate an environment where people can do their best work

You have solid experience running and representing large, cross-functional programs — ideally within an R&D or product-driven tech organization You've worked directly with software development teams, while also handling complex dependencies across legal, licensing, and UX. You're a great communicator who can bring clarity to the problem spaces you take on, and develop strong relationships and trust with partners and stakeholders. You have a proven track record of influencing and delivering without formal authority over the teams with whom you are working. You're comfortable balancing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, and international environment. You have an eye for quality and a genuine curiosity for how things work — you bring thoughtfulness and enthusiasm to your programs, not just process. You have sharp judgment about when to escalate, when to absorb, and when to just solve it yourself Teams can count on you for operational rigor and follow-through You love getting feedback and have a strong growth mindset

This role is based in New York. This team operates within the Eastern Standard time zone for collaboration. We ask that you come into the office 2–3 days per week.
