The role coordinates animal-health and livestock initiatives, including FAO's component of Malawi's Pandemic Fund work, and supports surveillance, laboratory systems, capacity development, project management and One Health collaboration. Requirements & qualifications
Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Veterinary Medicine or a related field; five years of relevant experience managing and implementing animal-disease-control programmes, preferably in developing countries, including team and partnership leadership; working knowledge of English and intermediate knowledge of another FAO official language.
