Full job description
ROLE SUMMARY:
Manage design projects from concept to completion, including both design aspects and project coordination duties. This includes developing design plans, managing budgets and schedules, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design Development: Creates and analyzes 2D and 3D layouts and visuals using specified design software and visualization tools.
• Project Coordination: Works directly with contractors, consultants, and MEP technicians to align schedules and design specs.
• Vendor & Material Management: Sources samples, reviews supplier options, and creates presentation boards and site reports.
• Site Visits – Pre-opening: Makes regular site visits to check work quality, track daily progress, list snags, and ensure fixes are made before opening.
• Documentation & Approvals: Handles permits, landlord and authorities’ approvals, and daily project logs.
• General Support: Helps with extra design, technical, or admin tasks requested by management to keep projects moving on schedule.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:
• Skilled in AutoCAD (2D), 3Ds Max, and V-Ray for producing accurate layouts and realistic 3D renders.
• 3–5 years in coordinating design projects, managing timelines, and liaising with cross-functional teams.
• Strong grasp of design development, detailing, materials, and visualization.
• Effective in design presentations, vendor coordination, and maintaining project records.
• Degree/diploma in Architecture or Interior Design with a design & visualization portfolio.
• Teamwork & Communication: Clear communicator, well-organized, and reliable in managing suppliers and site teams under tight deadlines.
