This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Lead (Performance Marketing) based in Mexico. As a Project Lead, you will combine advanced performance marketing expertise with project leadership, mentoring, and strategic client partnership. You’ll independently lead complex performance marketing initiatives while helping teams deliver consistently high-quality work and measurable business results. Your experience managing significant media budgets across multiple advertising platforms will allow you to solve challenges through data, experimentation, and creative problem-solving. You’ll also play a key role in developing other marketers through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing. Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders, you’ll anticipate needs, guide strategy, and contribute to sustainable account growth. This is a full-time, permanent, remote-first role with flexible working hours and opportunities to influence both client outcomes and broader performance marketing capabilities.
Lead performance marketing projects of varying complexity, delivering high-quality work with a strong focus on testing, experimentation, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving. Execute, maintain, and scale performance marketing accounts while protecting positive ROI and aligning campaigns with client business objectives. Manage campaigns across multiple platforms, including Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, Display, Programmatic, TikTok, X, Spotify, and other relevant channels. Build strong client relationships through proactive communication, regular touchpoints, asynchronous collaboration, and strategic recommendations. Anticipate client needs and provide practical solutions that support sustainable business growth. Lead projects end-to-end, including planning, execution, delegation, quality control, and coordination with more junior team members. Mentor, train, and support team members, helping them develop their performance marketing capabilities and achieve career growth goals. Use advanced analytics and reporting to identify opportunities, assess performance, and translate data into actionable recommendations. Build or improve dashboards, reporting systems, and automated processes to make performance analysis more efficient. Contribute to quarterly planning and broader strategic initiatives that help clients grow their businesses. Act as a key contributor to the development of performance marketing expertise, services, processes, and internal capabilities. Collaborate with wider teams to align individual projects and contributions with broader business and program objectives. Support onboarding and knowledge sharing by helping new team members understand processes, standards, and performance marketing practices. Requirements Demonstrated experience executing, maintaining, and scaling performance marketing accounts with approximately $100K–$200K USD in monthly media spend , consistently delivering positive ROI. Strong hands-on experience managing paid media across multiple platforms simultaneously, such as Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, Display, Programmatic, TikTok, X, Spotify, and similar channels. Experience managing performance marketing campaigns across different business models and verticals, including eCommerce and lead generation. Proven ability to lead performance marketing projects from start to finish, including delegation and coordination with junior team members. Experience directly mentoring, coaching, training, or developing team members and supporting their career progression. Advanced analytical skills and experience using tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, Google Data Studio, Tableau, or similar platforms. Ability to extract, organize, analyze, and interpret data from advertising platforms, analytics systems, and business intelligence tools. Experience building dashboards or automating manual reporting processes to improve efficiency and decision-making. Proven client-facing experience, including managing weekly meetings, asynchronous communication, strategic recommendations, and long-term client relationships. Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate performance data into recommendations that support client growth. Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while supporting and developing others. Strong ownership mindset, curiosity, accountability, and commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Comfortable working remotely and collaborating effectively across distributed teams. Professional English proficiency sufficient for client and team communication, as the interview process and day-to-day collaboration are conducted in English. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Mexico. Benefits Total compensation: MXN $600,000–$700,000 annually, plus benefits. New-hire starting compensation: MXN $600,000–$675,000 annually, plus competitive benefits. Full-time, permanent employment. Fully remote work from Mexico.
