QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor in Civil Engineering. - Minimum 4 years of experience as project manager in UAE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Executing the project on time, within the approved budget, and in accordance with the contract specification
- Ensuring that the quality of the materials and the installation of work are in accordance with the criteria identified for the project.
- Preparation of Bid Summary with recommendations for approval of MD
- Receiving all the relevant information regarding design, drawing and engineering.
- Responsible for project controls (planning and cost control)
- Responsible for all aspects of project Quality Management & Control
- Ensure that all required personnel and labor are mobilized in a timely manner
- All aspects of health, safety, environment and security
- Follow up with procurement department and ensure all orders are procured on time
- Review manpower requirement and deployment
- Ensure proper material planning allowing for sufficient time for approval and processing of material requests
- Prepare progress reports
- Attend meetings with consultant, client, and subcontractors
- Issue instructions to subcontractors advising them of available work areas and reviewing their progress work
- Identifying and taking necessary corrective action to improve the progress and or quality of work
- Handling project petty cash and matters related to invoices and payments
- Receiving and Auctioning project correspondence
- Follow up progress payments, certification, and receipt of payment
- Ensure that all cost and time impacts are recorded and secured Staff training and appraisals
