Project Manager-Implementation

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager-Implementation based in India. This role offers the opportunity to lead customer-facing SaaS implementation projects across commercial and enterprise environments. You will take ownership of projects from scope definition and planning through execution, delivery, and ongoing stakeholder management. Working alongside implementation consultants, engineers, customers, and cross-functional teams, you will turn complex requirements into clear and actionable project plans. The position combines structured project management with the flexibility to navigate ambiguity, changing priorities, and tight deadlines. You will manage schedules, budgets, risks, issues, resources, and performance metrics while keeping customers aligned throughout delivery. The role is suited to a confident, collaborative project leader who can operate effectively in a fast-growing and dynamic environment.

Lead end-to-end implementation projects for commercial, SMB, and enterprise customers, managing delivery from initial scope definition through completion. Work closely with implementation consultants, implementation engineers, customers, prospects, and cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate successful project delivery. Define project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource requirements for both standard and customized implementations. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring activities, timelines, responsibilities, and dependencies remain clearly documented. Manage the assigned project portfolio, balancing priorities and ensuring projects remain aligned with customer and business objectives. Own project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and overall delivery performance. Track project KPIs, work effort, resource utilization, and delivery progress, identifying potential challenges early and taking appropriate corrective action. Manage customer expectations through clear communication, regular updates, and proactive resolution of delivery concerns. Provide project-level and portfolio-level reporting to relevant stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, decisions, and areas requiring attention. Navigate ambiguity and changing requirements while maintaining delivery discipline and making informed, calculated decisions. Support less experienced team members by providing guidance on project planning, processes, and delivery practices. Contribute to a collaborative team environment and continuously improve implementation and project management practices. Requirements 3–5 years of professional project management experience or comparable project delivery experience. Demonstrated experience managing SaaS or software implementation projects, ideally in customer-facing environments. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex implementations for SMB, commercial, and enterprise customers. Hands-on experience managing projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies. Experience working in a high-growth startup or similarly fast-paced environment with evolving priorities. Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, software implementation processes, and customer delivery lifecycles. Experience using SaaS-based project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, DevRev, or similar platforms. Strong planning, organization, prioritization, and time-management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities, with confidence working directly with customers and cross-functional teams. Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to align stakeholders around scope, timelines, risks, and delivery expectations. Resilience and adaptability when managing tight deadlines, ambiguity, competing priorities, and challenging delivery situations. Ability to transform complex or ambiguous requirements into clear plans, actions, and measurable outcomes. A collaborative and humble approach, with the confidence to take ownership while valuing the contributions of others. PMI/PMP, Agile, or comparable project management certification is advantageous.
