Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Provider Development Specialist based in United States. This role is focused on turning new provider engagement into lasting partnerships and measurable growth. You’ll act as a key extension of the field sales organization, helping providers move from initial interest to first orders and sustained utilization. The position combines proactive outreach, relationship management, account growth, and provider re-engagement. You’ll work closely with healthcare professionals and office staff to remove adoption barriers and create a seamless experience. Success is measured through provider activation, repeat ordering, utilization growth, and account retention. The role offers a collaborative, growth-oriented environment where your work can directly support broader access to sleep and respiratory care.
Follow up with provider offices within 24 hours of educational events, introductions, or other field sales activities to introduce yourself as a dedicated growth resource and address high-level questions. Guide providers and office staff through the first-order process, helping remove barriers and build confidence in available services and solutions. Follow up after the first completed order to understand the provider experience and encourage continued ordering activity. Conduct regular outreach to active ordering providers to strengthen relationships, understand utilization trends, identify growth opportunities, and increase ordering frequency. Identify additional providers, locations, or accounts that could benefit from the organization’s services and develop opportunities for broader adoption. Reconnect with inactive or lost ordering providers to understand disengagement, identify service gaps or ordering barriers, gather market and competitive insights, and develop reactivation strategies. Partner closely with Territory Managers by sharing provider feedback and market intelligence, identifying education and support opportunities, and developing account-specific growth strategies. Help ensure a smooth transition from initial field engagement to ongoing provider utilization and long-term account growth. Maintain consistent, proactive communication across multiple accounts while balancing competing priorities and follow-up activities. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. 2–4 years of experience in customer experience or sales support, preferably within home medical equipment, respiratory care, sleep diagnostics, or a related healthcare environment. Proven ability to build productive relationships with healthcare professionals and office staff. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, follow-ups, and priorities effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with a professional, customer-focused approach. Comfortable working across multiple systems and platforms with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail. Demonstrated resourcefulness, accountability, initiative, and follow-through when addressing challenges. Familiarity with DME operations, healthcare workflows, or similar environments is preferred but not required. Customer-first mindset with the ability to anticipate provider needs and identify practical solutions. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to develop trust with providers and internal partners. Growth-oriented approach, with an interest in expanding adoption, utilization, and measurable account results. Adaptability when navigating evolving systems, priorities, and workflows, combined with a collaborative approach to sharing insights across teams. Benefits: Estimated on-target earnings of $75,000–$78,000 USD annually , including base salary and target incentive compensation. Sales Incentive Plan with a target incentive opportunity of 20% of base salary . Compensation determined based on factors including geographic location, relevant qualifications, experience, and skills. Comprehensive medical, vision, dental, and life insurance. Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage. Short-term and long-term disability insurance. Sleep care management benefits. Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA). Commuter benefits. 401(k) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Tuition assistance. Flexible work arrangements. 15 days of paid time off accrued during the first year. 11 paid holidays plus 3 floating holidays . Up to 14 weeks of primary caregiver leave or 2 weeks of secondary caregiver leave when welcoming new family members. Benefits eligibility for employees scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week.
