Full job description
The job performs operating, functional and expert inspections on electrical equipment; supports condition assessments; monitors equipment safety and proper use; instructs volunteers; supports digital radio equipment; carries out maintenance and minor repairs; and maintains inventory and inspection schedules. The post is EG 7 TVöD (Bund).
Requirements & qualifications
A completed electrical-trade apprenticeship with at least three years of standard training is required, together with knowledge of applicable safety and technical rules and a B/BE-equivalent driving licence. Applicants must be willing to work at local units, complete required training and vaccinations, and support operational duties outside usual hours when necessary.
