Full job description
A. Quality Inspections
- Conduct daily inspections for all electrical activities including cable installation, containment, lighting, power systems, earthing, LV panels, and ELV systems.
- Verify work as per approved IFC drawings, BOQ, and project specifications.
- Ensure workmanship meets industry standards and project quality requirements.
- Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up on corrective actions.
B. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and update inspection requests (IRs), MIRs (Material Inspection Requests), and relevant QA/QC documentation.
- Maintain logs for inspections, testing, materials, and quality records.
- Submit daily and weekly quality reports to the QA/QC Engineer.
- Assist in preparing final handover documents, including as-built quality records.
C. Testing & Commissioning Support
- Witness testing for electrical systems such as insulation resistance, continuity, functional tests, breaker testing, generator tests, UPS checks, and grounding resistance.
- Ensure all testing is carried out as per approved ITPs and manufacturer standards.
D. Material Verification
- Inspect incoming materials and verify compliance with approved submittals.
- Ensure materials are stored and handled properly on site.
- Report damaged or non-compliant materials immediately.
E. Compliance & Coordination
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and consultants for inspections.
- Ensure subcontractors adhere to quality standards and project requirements.
- Support the QA/QC Engineer in quality audits and internal assessments.
F. Safety Integration
- Ensure electrical works follow safety procedures and HSE guidelines.
- Report unsafe practices or conditions observed during inspection.
