This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Specialist based in United States. This temporary remote role supports recovery programs by ensuring applicant files meet established quality, eligibility, and compliance standards. You will review applications, supporting documentation, income verification, and case manager recommendations for accuracy and completeness. The position plays an important role in identifying deficiencies and helping case management teams resolve them efficiently. You will work closely with colleagues to maintain reliable records and support consistent program delivery. The role combines detailed file review, analytical problem-solving, documentation, and data management. It offers the opportunity to contribute to programs that support applicants through sheltering and repair initiatives. Success in this position requires strong organization, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Review applicant files and applications against program-specific quality standards, guidance, and eligibility requirements. Evaluate intake forms, case manager award recommendations, final agreements, income verification, and supporting documentation for consistency, completeness, and accuracy. Identify application deficiencies, documentation gaps, and process issues, then collaborate with case management teams to resolve them. Assess income limits and verify proof of income and other applicant-provided documentation using appropriate third-party resources. Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to case managers to improve file quality and compliance. Collect, compile, maintain, and report program data through designated tracking systems to support accurate statistics and reporting. Assist case managers in preparing client files for closeout after benefits have been provided. Work collaboratively as part of a quality-focused team supporting sheltering and repair recovery programs. Perform additional duties and quality-control activities as required by operational needs. Requirements Associate or Bachelor’s degree in social services or another relevant field, or at least 2 years of relevant experience in quality control, case management, application processing, grant-funded government programs, or a related field. Previous QA/QC experience supporting a federally funded program is preferred. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify inconsistencies and documentation gaps. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback. Strong time-management skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize work and consistently meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with case management portals or similar program-management systems is a plus. Ability to work effectively within a team while managing assigned caseloads and maintaining consistent quality standards. Ability to handle sensitive applicant information responsibly and follow applicable program requirements and procedures. Benefits Temporary employment opportunity with a remote work arrangement.
