Full job description
The inspector monitors fabrication and erection of LPG vessels, piping, civil and structural work and coatings; checks compliance with project ITPs and applicable ASME/EEMUA requirements; reviews welding qualifications and material certificates; and follows hold points and third-party inspections. The employer states a 10-month assignment working six days per week.
Requirements & qualifications
Requires a current welding-inspection qualification such as CSWIP 3.1, AWS CWI or equivalent; NDT Level II under ASNT SNT-TC-1A or ISO 9712 including radiographic interpretation; working knowledge of ASME Sections V, VIII and IX; and a coating-inspection qualification such as NACE/AMPP CIP or FROSIO. Pressure-vessel/LPG experience and French-English bilingual ability are desirable.
