Responsibilities Iterating quickly with on-site quantitative researchers on research processes to improve the P&L of the desk’s quantitative trading strategies Developing Python tools used across the research process Designing full-stack workflows with quantitative researchers to help evaluate and improve on trading strategies Qualifications Final-year bachelor's or master’s student in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, or a related field Availability for a 10-week internship Strong interest in quantitative finance and software development Solid foundation in Python programming, with exposure to libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, or Polars through coursework or personal projects Demonstrated curiosity, problem-solving ability, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative, and intellectually demanding environment Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a distributed team Exposure to C++ and/or scripting languages (e.g., Bash) is a plus Interest in learning about large-scale systems, workflow orchestration, and production-grade software engineering practices Benefits Tower’s headquarters are in the historic Equitable Building, right in the heart of NYC’s Financial District and our impact is global, with over a dozen offices around the world.  At Tower, we believe work should be both challenging and enjoyable.
