The Government of Monaco is recruiting a Controller to handle radio-station licensing, compliance inspections, interference cases and radio-frequency measurement work for the digital platforms and resources directorate.
Full job description
Duties include processing licence requests for private radio stations, inspecting terrestrial and maritime radio installations, handling radio interference, monitoring site compliance, measuring exposure to electromagnetic fields, supporting mobile-network measurement campaigns, and maintaining measurement equipment. The published index scale is 362/482. Evening, weekend or public-holiday work may occur. Selected Monégasque nationals enter a 12-month trainee civil-service period; selected foreign nationals are fixed-term State agents with a three-month trial period. Employment priority applies to Monégasque candidates under the cited public-service law.
Requirements & qualifications
Requires either two years of higher education in radiocommunications or physical measurements plus at least four years of professional radiocommunications experience, or a baccalaureate/equivalent plus at least eight years of such experience. A category B driving licence, strong radio knowledge, independent use of measurement equipment, proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel and Visio, fluent French and English, and good character are required.
