This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a RCM Implementation Account Manager based in United States. As an RCM Implementation Account Manager, you will lead the onboarding and implementation of new healthcare clients from initial kickoff through go-live and stabilization. You’ll apply your expertise in physician revenue cycle management to translate client workflows and requirements into effective billing configurations and operational processes. The role combines client relationship management, implementation project management, healthcare technology, and revenue cycle expertise. You’ll coordinate closely with cross-functional teams spanning operations, coding, credentialing, IT, EDI, finance, and account management. Your work will help identify risks early, ensure implementation readiness, and establish strong operational foundations for long-term client success. You’ll also monitor post-go-live performance and use data-driven insights to address issues and improve revenue cycle outcomes.
Lead new RCM client implementations from initial kickoff through go-live, stabilization, and transition to ongoing account management. Gather, document, and validate client workflows, operational requirements, payer information, provider data, and billing configurations. Develop and manage implementation timelines, deliverables, dependencies, milestones, and client action items across multiple concurrent projects. Coordinate payer enrollment, ERA/EFT setup, clearinghouse enrollment, EDI configuration, and provider/NPI/TIN setup. Identify implementation risks, workflow gaps, and potential revenue-impacting issues before go-live and develop appropriate mitigation plans. Validate system configurations and conduct pre-go-live testing across claims, interfaces, reports, and financial workflows. Lead client-facing kickoff calls, implementation meetings, training sessions, and executive-level status updates. Partner with Operations, Coding, Credentialing/Enrollment, IT, EDI, Finance, and Account Management teams to ensure successful implementations. Establish implementation KPIs and monitor early performance following go-live, including claim acceptance, clean claim rate, charge lag, payment activity, denials, and A/R trends. Create and maintain implementation documentation, SOPs, workflow diagrams, issue logs, and transition materials. Analyze implementation and revenue cycle data to identify issues, resolve problems, and support continuous improvement. Requirements: 3–5+ years of experience in healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, specifically physician or professional billing. Demonstrated experience implementing and onboarding new RCM clients from kickoff through successful go-live and stabilization. Strong knowledge of the full physician revenue cycle, including registration, eligibility, charge capture, coding, claim submission, payment posting, denial management, A/R follow-up, and patient collections. Proven ability to gather and document complex workflows, operational requirements, payer information, provider data, and billing configurations. Strong project-management and organizational skills, with the ability to independently manage deadlines, competing priorities, and multiple implementations. Experience with payer enrollment, ERA/EFT, clearinghouse enrollment, EDI workflows, and provider/NPI/TIN setup. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and healthcare reporting and data analysis. Hands-on experience validating system configurations and testing claims, interfaces, reports, and financial workflows. Excellent client-facing communication skills and confidence leading implementation meetings, training sessions, and executive-level updates. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with technical, operational, financial, and clinical support teams. Experience creating implementation KPIs and monitoring post-go-live revenue cycle performance. NextGen experience is required, including experience with NextGen Enterprise. Familiarity with clearinghouses and payer portals is preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS requirements, payer billing guidelines, and healthcare compliance standards. Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent RCM experience or relevant certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree. Benefits: Salary range of $70,000–$90,000 USD.
