We’ve built Rowan by rethinking the ear piercing experience from the ground up—prioritizing safety, clinical expertise, and a customer experience that feels both celebratory and trusted. Every piercing is performed by licensed nurses and guided by our Rowan Clinical Piercing Standard® and paired with our hypoallergenic products, setting a clear standard that is differentiated from traditional retail models. Rowan is looking for a Recruiter to support our hiring and growth initiatives, ensuring an exceptional employee experience! Reporting directly to Senior Director, HR, this position will serve as one of the primary recruiters supporting the hiring of our Rowan Nurses and will support the full recruitment life cycle. The Recruiter will be responsible for attracting, hiring, and retaining the best talent for Rowan. The Recruiter will work closely with the Human Resources team to ensure all future and current employees at Rowan have the best experience possible.
Support full-cycle recruiting at Rowan, including posting and refreshing job listings, tracking candidate progress, scheduling interviews, and maintaining timely communication with candidates.
Review and screen applications, conduct initial video interviews, and assess candidates’ experience, skills, and cultural alignment; recommend qualified candidates for next steps.
Build and maintain proactive candidate pipelines by market.
Partner with Human Resources Business Partners and hiring managers to identify talent needs and inform recruiting strategies that support timely and effective hiring.
Serve as a primary recruiter for Rowan Nurses, supporting new studio openings and ongoing staffing needs across existing locations.
Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies aligned with role requirements and market needs, with a particular focus on attracting talent for hard-to-fill roles and challenging markets.
Drive the recruiting process forward by proactively following up with hiring managers on interview feedback, candidate next steps, and outstanding actions to ensure a timely and positive candidate experience.
Ensure a positive candidate experience by guiding candidates through the interview process and providing timely, respectful communication regarding their status.
Train and support hiring managers on recruiting best practices and use of the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Prepare and extend offers to selected candidates in alignment with company guidelines.
Support new hire processing and onboarding activities as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the ATS and internal systems.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
2+ years' experience in managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Prior high-volume nurse recruitment experience is highly preferred.
Track record of proven success in building a talent pipeline
A passion for finding and matching the right people at the right time to the right role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems (i.e., Lever)
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
HR Certification (APHR, PHR, SHRM-CP) credential preferred.
Proficient with Google Docs, Microsoft Office Suite or related software
