The Recruiter is the first point of contact for experts and is responsible for the entire recruitment cycle — from identifying the best candidates to building and maintaining long-term professional relationships. In this role, you will analyze project-specific requirements, identify suitable experts, and ensure the successful presentation of all expert-related content within project proposals. You will work closely with the responsible Project Manager, and play a key role in securing winning project teams.

Your Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to identify, attract, and retain highly qualified experts at an early stage using various sourcing channels.
  • Analyze project requirements and match them with suitable expert profiles.
  • Review, proofread, edit, and optimize CVs with regard to content, language, and market relevance.
  • Identify and actively approach top-performing experts through various sourcing channels and social media platforms.
  • Present and explain projects and the work of GOPA to potential experts, inspiring them to join our assignments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential experts, creating a sustainable professional network.
  • Negotiate fees, terms, and contracts with experts.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain all required documentation, including CVs, references, work certificates, and supporting documents.
  • Prepare and coordinate expert-related sections of project proposals
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and internal teams to ensure successful proposal preparation and project implementation.

A Background That Convinces Us

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, International Development, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, executive search, or international project staffing is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
  • Experience in reviewing and editing professional CVs and application documents.
  • Confidence in negotiating and managing relationships with external experts and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in social media and online sourcing tools for talent acquisition.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages (Spanish, French) are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
