Recruiting Operations Program Manager

Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products. THE ROLE Baseten is growing fast, and how we hire shapes what we become. As our Recruiting Operations Program Manager, you'll find where the recruiting team is losing time or quality, confirm it with data, and build and run the program that fixes it. Some of that work is quick, like a data pull for leadership or an Ashby answer for a recruiter. Some of it spans months and needs executive buy-in. You'll identify, build and own programs end to end, from redesigning core recruiting processes to building and shipping AI-powered tools that change how our recruiters work every day. You'll work across Ashby, Notion, Slack, and Claude, and treat AI as a core part of how recruiting runs. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Break large, ambiguous problems into clear phases, owners, and deadlines, and drive them through to adoption, not just launch.
• Lead large-scale recruiting programs end to end: secure leadership buy-in, manage timelines across stakeholders, and use data to decide what to change and how to measure it.
• Analyze interview plans, pass-through rates, stage timing, and interviewer load in Ashby, and turn findings into concrete recommendations.
• Own data hygiene and job setup consistency across the pipeline so leadership can trust recruiting reporting, and build the dashboards and reports the team relies on.
• Support operational asks from recruiters and leadership, and turn repeated asks into self-serve tools or documented answers.
• Build, pilot, and iterate on Claude-powered tools and workflows that solve recurring pain points across the recruiting team.
• Keep recruiting documentation – including interview guides, playbooks, SOPs, and training material – current, monitored, and easy to find.
• Propose and roll out process changes that make recruiting faster and more consistent, including the comms and training that make them stick. REQUIREMENTS
• 3+ years in recruiting operations, program management, or a related operations role at a fast-growing company.
• Track record of running cross-functional projects end to end, including getting buy-in from senior leaders.
• Comfort pulling, analyzing, and presenting data, and turning it into clear recommendations.
• Clear, concise writing, including for executive audiences.
• Strong prioritization skills, with the ability to balance long-running programs with day-to-day asks. NICE TO HAVE
• Hands-on Ashby experience, especially reporting and dashboards, or deep experience with another ATS, including using data and metrics to drive decisions and set priorities.
• Experience building workflows or tools with AI (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar). BENEFITS
