The role partners with employers, developers, industry and community stakeholders to understand workforce demand and deliver end-to-end recruitment. Responsibilities include job briefs, advertising, screening, interviewing, reference checks, candidate matching and placement, pre-employment preparation, post-placement support, vacancy workflows and tracking recruitment outcomes and labour-market trends.
Requirements & qualifications
The Ministry seeks experience in recruitment, employment services and/or workforce coordination, strong employer and stakeholder relationship skills, the ability to connect people into sustainable employment, experience with recruitment systems or digital tools, strong communication and organisation, and knowledge of construction, infrastructure or trades or the ability to build that knowledge quickly. A full New Zealand driver licence and ability to drive a Ministry vehicle are required.
