This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Vice President-Retirement Plan Sales (NC/SC) based in United States. This is a field-based retirement plan sales leadership opportunity covering North Carolina and South Carolina. The role focuses on developing a substantial territory and generating new business across retirement plan solutions. You’ll provide consultative guidance to partners and customers, helping them understand relevant products and services. Success requires strong prospecting, territory management, relationship-building, and sales execution. You’ll work closely with internal retirement plan teams to support customer retention and satisfaction. The position also offers opportunities to share expertise, mentor colleagues, and strengthen regional sales practices. Regular travel throughout the assigned territory is an essential part of the role.

Develop and manage a large North Carolina and South Carolina territory, identifying new business opportunities and expanding market presence. Deliver against established sales quotas and targets while supporting strong customer satisfaction and retention. Provide consultative sales support to partners and customers, educating them on retirement plan products, services, and solutions. Apply strong knowledge of retirement plans and competitive intelligence to position solutions effectively within the assigned market. Partner with internal retirement plan sales teams and other resources to coordinate customer strategies and support successful outcomes. Build and maintain strong business relationships across the territory through proactive prospecting, account management, and finalist presentations. Continuously strengthen product knowledge, sales capabilities, competitive awareness, and territory-management practices. Mentor colleagues and contribute ideas and best practices that can improve the effectiveness of local, regional, and national sales teams. Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory and represent the organization in customer and partner engagements. Requirements 5+ years of field or outside sales experience selling retirement plan products, such as 401(k), 403(b), 457 plans, or mutual funds. Demonstrated success achieving sales quotas, with strong prospecting, territory-management, and business-development capabilities. Significant experience working with retirement plans and in a wholesaling or consultative sales environment. Experience managing a geographic territory and traveling regularly to meet customers and business partners. Securities licenses Series 6, 63, and 65 are required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Strong presentation, communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and consultative selling skills. Ability to develop competitive intelligence and translate product knowledge into effective customer solutions. Demonstrated ability to mentor others and contribute to broader sales-team development. Excellent driving record and eligibility to be insured under the applicable corporate insurance policy. Candidates must live within the North Carolina/South Carolina territory or be willing to relocate and travel as required. Benefits Base salary of $100,000 plus incentive compensation .
