The third Re!nventa edition focuses on technology for social and environmental challenges. Earlier Santiago and São Vicente stops have concluded; the current official page still invites applications for the 2026 series while upcoming Sal and Fogo dates and venues remain 'to be announced'. Each regional hackathon is an independent in-person 48-hour event preceded by virtual preparation bootcamps. Regional winners progress to a national final. Open to students, entrepreneurs, developers, designers and other people motivated to use technology to solve real problems. Applicants may apply individually or as a team; an exclusively technical background is not required and multidisciplinary teams are encouraged.
