Full job description

The position is full-time, subject to funding availability, from 1 October 2026 through 30 June 2031 and is also suitable for part-time work. Payment is according to pay group 13 TV-L Wissenschaft. Work includes independent plant phenotyping research, data analysis, scientific publications, grant applications, and supervision of doctoral candidates and students.

Requirements & qualifications

A master’s degree or equivalent in a related field is required, together with strong phenotyping knowledge, data-analysis experience (preferably R), botanical knowledge of peatland plants, peatland ecology, publication experience, and very good German and English. A relevant doctorate and molecular-genetics experience are advantageous.
