Research Planning Manager

We are a growing, multi-site organisation, with colleagues working across research, data, technology, product, journalism, commercial and events in London, Leeds and Bristol. About the role This is a newly created role that will take ownership of planning, scheduling and delivery coordination across multiple research projects. You'll act as the central point of contact for research timetables, ensuring stakeholders have visibility over deadlines, risks are identified early, and delivery remains on track. The role would suit someone with strong project planning, scheduling or operations experience who enjoys bringing structure to complex programmes and working with a wide range of stakeholders. What You'll Be Doing Own and maintain master schedules across multiple research projects Ensure timelines remain realistic, achievable and visible Coordinate planning activities across teams and stakeholders Monitor progress against key milestones and deadlines Identify delivery risks and implement mitigation plans Manage timetable changes and communicate updates clearly Produce planning reports and scheduling insights Analyse delivery data to support future planning decisions Drive continuous improvement across planning processes What We're Looking For Experience managing complex schedules, programmes or project plans Strong organisational and prioritisation skills Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to identify risks and solve problems proactively Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven recommendations Nice To Have Experience within publishing, professional services, research, operations or project delivery environments Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or portfolios Location: Leeds (Hybrid 3 days in office 2 days from home) Hours: 9:30am - 5:30pm Find more English Speaking Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow
