Full job description
The professor leads high-level research using advanced economic modelling to study environmental, geopolitical and market shocks, policy coherence, resilience and welfare impacts. The fixed-term employment is planned for 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2032, subject to contract terms. Mobile work is possible within Finland with regular face-to-face collaboration.
Requirements & qualifications
Doctoral degree in economics is required. Resource or environmental economics and expertise in climate change, biodiversity, natural resources, food systems, land use or the bioeconomy are merits. Strong analytical economics and advanced quantitative modelling are expected; machine learning and other AI methods are beneficial.
