Assists in Country Store and Grocery Store operations, to include inventory control activities, ordering and receiving food items, stocking, checking out customers, warehouse maintenance, and related activities. 1. Assists in Country Store and Grocery Store operations, to include inventory control activities, ordering and receiving food items, stocking, checking out customers, warehouse maintenance, and related activities.

Exhibits regular and punctual attendance.

Maintains monthly inventory counts of food and related items.

Creates purchase orders for Country and grocery store items

Ensures that the Store and assigned equipment is organized, safe, clean, and maintained. Stock is rotated on first in, first out rotation.

Maintains logs, records, and related items for Store operations.

Ensures that proper distribution and accounting procedures are maintained for purchases of items.

Follows safety and hygiene requirements in all assigned areas.

Exhibits appropriate interaction with residents.
Requirements
-
A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
-
Experience in grocery store operations is preferred.

Basic competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand/eye coordination, pushing/pulling, prolonged sitting/standing

Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Must be available for travel as needed.
