Revenue Accountant

We celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive environment, empowering our employees to be their authentic selves.  To complement our rapid growth, we are seeking a Revenue Accountant with an active CPA, based in our Philippines office.  The person in this role should be a strong communicator who is able to work effectively with peers and management alike in a high-paced environment. The ideal candidate is someone who has accounting, strong technical accounting experience and can respond quickly, energetically, and enthusiastically. Responsibilities:   Assist on sales Contract review and assessment. Ensure revenue recognition is in accordance with company policy and SaaS revenue recognition accounting standards Prepare deal/contract summaries for material completed transactions Prepare journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable related accounts on a worldwide basis. Assist with financial audits including reconciliations, support documentation, and communication with external auditors Assist with month end and quarter end close activities Work closely with Sales Operations, Customer Support, and Collection team as needed to obtain information necessary to analyze and reconcile customer accounts. Assist with managing and resolving Billing and Revenue Customer issues. Identify and assist with implementation of process improvements, including SOX related process improvements and access controls. Support and participate on revenue accounting as well as order to cash cycle related projects. Assist in various projects as needed Stay current on new revenue accounting rules and help develop appropriate policies and processes Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance or related field, minimum of 3 years experience in accounting or finance, CPA Required, Big 4/Public Accounting experience      Revenue Recognition experience including adoption of ASC 606      Experience of working with NetSuite and Salesforce is plus. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Must have software/SaaS experience. Must have solid verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
