ABOUT THE ROLE *Open to hiring remote across the US & Canada - we also have offices in NYC, San Francisco, and Seattle We're seeking a detail-oriented Senior Revenue Accountant to help own and scale Runway's revenue accounting function, with broad ownership across all of revenue recognition (including B2B and B2C revenue), invoicing, collections, accounts receivable, and deferred revenue. This is a high-ownership role on a small team with significant growth opportunity. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Support the revenue close by preparing journal entries, accounts receivable and deferred revenue reconciliations, AR aging, and flux analyses for all revenue-related accounts
• Prepare technical accounting analyses, including contract review checklists, identifying performance obligations, establishing standalone selling price, calculating the impact of contract modifications, and applying revenue recognition to various products
• Own full-cycle Order-to-Cash process , including invoicing, cash application, aging, and collections and drive timely resolution of overdue accounts and billing disputes
• Identify and lead process improvements across revenue workflows, leveraging AI to modernize how we do accounting
• Build revenue recognition workbooks for new products and pricing models as they launch
• Serve as a revenue expert to Sales, Post-Sales, FP&A and Legal, resolving billing questions and reviewing order forms against revenue treatment
• Implement controls over our revenue process and be a key point of contact for external audit requests WHAT YOU’LL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA a plus.
• 4+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience, with ASC 606 experience in a SaaS or technology environment
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or comparable ERP/CRM systems; advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Experience with Usage Based revenue recognition preferred
• Big 4 or public accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of internal controls and audit coordination
