The Research Instruments Group role covers production and delivery of radioactive-isotope beams, fundamental RI-beam production data, new-isotope experiments, operation and development of the existing high-power primary-beam dump, and development of a new beam dump for the RIBF upgrade. The position is based at Wako Campus. Research/Technical Scientist pay starts at JPY 640,000 per month including discretionary work allowance; Senior Research/Senior Technical Scientist pay starts at JPY 670,000.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants need a doctoral degree or equivalent research ability and background in a relevant field. Prior experience in the exact R&D topic is not required, but substantial experience in experiments using radioactive-isotope beams is expected.
