UNICEF is building a remote Accelerated Disease Control consultant roster for immunization, disease elimination, outbreak preparedness and response, with possible deployments to multiple duty stations based on country needs.
Full job description
The renewed expert pool will support vaccine-preventable disease control and elimination, outbreak preparedness and response, immunization campaigns, risk analysis, polio integration, pandemic preparedness, knowledge management and related technical assistance. The roster is intended to operate from 1 September 2026 through 30 August 2029; inclusion in the pool does not guarantee an assignment.
Requirements & qualifications
The official posting requires a bachelor's degree, with a master's preferred, in Public Health, Epidemiology, Medicine, Immunization or a related field; at least eight years of progressively responsible relevant experience; demonstrated technical-assistance experience; and fluency in English. Working knowledge of French is an asset.
