The competition supports fundamental and exploratory scientific research carried out by separate scientific groups. Projects are planned for 2027–2029, with the competition documentation providing for possible continuation subject to RSF rules. RSF funding is RUB 4–7 million per project per year.
Eligibility requirements
The scientific-group leader may apply regardless of position, academic degree or citizenship, subject to the competition rules. The project must be hosted by an eligible Russian research-performing organisation located in Russia, and one person may submit only one application as project leader in this competition.
