Overview
The Saïd Foundation's 2027/28 scholarship cycle is open to eligible Jordanian applicants for fully funded one-year master's study at UK partner universities.
Complete scholarship details
Applications opened on 1 September 2026 and close at 5:00 p.m. UK time on Friday, 30 October 2026. The Foundation normally offers about 20–30 new scholarships annually across its target countries. A fully funded award includes tuition fees, full maintenance and living costs for the course, an arrival allowance, visa and healthcare-surcharge fees, and one economy return flight. Separate funding arrangements apply to Oxford, Cambridge and jointly funded Chevening scholars.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must hold Jordanian nationality and normally be permanently resident in Jordan, hold or be completing an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK 2:1 or higher, have relevant work and/or voluntary experience, demonstrate leadership potential, meet the Foundation's English-language requirements, and apply to an eligible one-year master's course at a partner university unless a justified exception applies.
Tips for this scholarship
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
Verification notes
Verified against the Saïd Foundation's current 2027/28 scholarship page, eligibility criteria, FAQ, timetable and required-documents pages on 2026-09-07 UTC. The timetable states a 5:00 p.m. UK-time deadline on 30 October 2026; that date is after the UK 2026 daylight-saving transition, so it normalizes to 17:00 UTC.
