The Role
As a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in driving the company's growth by developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing customers, and promoting innovative automation solutions to the industrial market.
This is a commercial role for a professional who combines technical understanding with strong sales and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and expand a portfolio of industrial customers across your area of responsibility.
- Identify, approach and convert new business opportunities into long-term partnerships.
- Build trusted relationships with production managers, engineers and key decision-makers.
- Understand customer challenges and identify opportunities for automation, digitalization and process improvement.
- Work closely with engineering teams to develop and present technical and commercial proposals.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and opportunity development to negotiation and contract award.
- Maintain and continuously develop a healthy sales pipeline through the company's CRM tools.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and emerging technologies.
- Represent AS Hellas at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in B2B technical sales.
- Strong commercial mindset with a passion for business development.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships and influence decision-makers.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.
- Availability for travel within Greece and occasionally abroad.
- Valid driving license.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Industrial Automation, Process Automation, Building Automation or related industrial sectors.
- Experience with CRM platforms.
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT.
