About the Role We are seeking a Salesforce Data 360 Architect to own the data architecture underpinning a North American client’s Salesforce AI and personalization program: what enters Data 360, how it is harmonized, how identity is resolved, how it is activated, and what it costs. Because Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud) is consumption-priced and easy to misconfigure expensively, this role carries both architectural and commercial accountability. This is a full-time, contractor agreement, remote nearshore position delivered from AspenView’s Latin American delivery centers, working the client’s core business hours with substantial time-zone overlap. You will be part of the client’s squad under AspenView Delivery Leadership, which holds the employment relationship and delivery accountability. This is a contributor role, not a task-execution role, the team needs someone who questions whether the right thing is being built, and says so. What You Will Do Data Architecture Canonical Data Model: Design the canonical data model and mapping strategy across CRM, ERP, warehouse, and event sources. Identity Resolution: Own identity resolution design, including match rules, reconciliation, and unified profile definition. Ingestion Strategy: Decide what is ingested, what is federated zero-copy, and what stays out of Data 360 entirely. Activation & AI Readiness Segmentation & Activation: Design segmentation, calculated insights, and activation paths into Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and advertising platforms. Agentforce Grounding: Define the grounding architecture for Agentforce, including retrieval sources and data-freshness requirements. Privacy by Design: Build consent, retention, and data-residency handling into the architecture from the start. Cost & Governance Consumption Management: Model and monitor Data 360 credit consumption, and design to reduce it. Data Governance: Establish ownership, lineage, quality thresholds, and change control. Change Approval: Review and approve data-stream and segment changes before they reach production. Advisory Executive Guidance: Explain to executive stakeholders what Data 360 will and will not solve. Technical Leadership: Guide data engineers and Agentforce architects on design decisions. What You Bring Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field—or equivalent experience. Experience 8+ years in data architecture, including 2+ years designing on Salesforce Data 360. Demonstrated ownership of a consumption-cost reduction on a live Data 360 implementation. Understanding of Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud activation mechanics, not just the Data 360 side. Technical Expertise Data 360 Architecture: Data streams, DMOs, identity resolution, calculated insights, segmentation, activation, and zero-copy federation. Data Modeling: Enterprise data modeling and master data management. Cloud Warehouses: Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or Redshift. Governance & Privacy: Data governance, privacy, and consent frameworks, including GDPR and CCPA obligations. Certifications Salesforce Certified Data 360 Consultant (required). Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect (preferred). Language Proficiency Professional English, with the ability to lead requirement and design conversations directly with North American stakeholders.
