SAP Basis Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP Basis Consultant based in India. This role is focused on delivering reliable SAP Basis and HANA operations for enterprise customers in global environments. You will support SAP RISE and SAP GROW customers while working across complex SAP landscapes and cloud-based deployments. The position combines hands-on administration, troubleshooting, upgrades, migrations, performance optimization, and ongoing AMS support. You will work with technologies including ECC, S/4HANA, HANA, BW, PI/PO, Fiori, Cloud ALM, and BTP Operations. The role also involves customer-facing collaboration, SLA-driven support, and participation in major transformation and cloud initiatives. Provide SAP Basis support across ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, and Fiori environments. Perform SAP system installations, system copies and refreshes, kernel upgrades, transport management, and related administration activities. Administer SAP HANA environments, including backup and restore, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system replication. Support SAP RISE customers through environment coordination, monitoring, service request management, and cloud operations. Support SAP GROW Basis activities, including readiness checks, early-stage stabilization, TDR, printer management, and job management. Use and support Cloud ALM and BTP Operations capabilities for monitoring and operational management. Participate in SAP migrations and cloud deployments, including environments hosted on AWS and other hyperscalers. Execute S/4HANA conversions, system upgrades, and EHP/SP updates . Deliver day-to-day AMS Basis support in accordance with defined SLAs and service expectations. Troubleshoot performance, application, and integration issues across SAP environments. Support user and role troubleshooting, SAP Router and RFC configuration, and related security administration activities. Assist with integrations using RFC, IDoc, ALE/EDI , as well as Fiori, ADS, Web Dispatcher, IAS/IPS, and Gateway technologies. Collaborate with global delivery teams and customers to resolve technical issues and maintain reliable SAP operations. Requirements: 8+ years of SAP Basis experience , including strong exposure to ECC, S/4HANA, and HANA. Strong hands-on experience supporting SAP RISE and SAP GROW customers. Proven experience with S/4HANA upgrades, conversions, and system refreshes . Solid expertise in SAP HANA administration, performance management, troubleshooting, backup/restore, and system replication. Experience supporting SAP environments within global delivery models . Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience working in multinational consulting or technology environments. Ability to manage multiple parallel tasks and priorities in fast-paced environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. High level of ownership, accountability, and reliability when managing technical responsibilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with distributed teams. Strong teamwork, communication, and customer engagement skills.
