SAP Convergent Mediation (CM) Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP Convergent Mediation (CM) Consultant based in India. This remote role focuses on designing and implementing SAP Convergent Mediation (CM) solutions that support end-to-end order-to-cash and billing processes within S/4HANA Public Cloud BRIM environments. You will build and maintain integrations connecting BRIM with upstream legacy applications, subscription billing platforms, and payment service providers. The position offers the opportunity to work on high-volume usage and transaction data, designing scalable mediation processes and reliable data flows. You will collaborate closely with functional and technical teams across BRIM, Subscription Order Management, Subscription Billing, and FI-CA. The role also involves troubleshooting complex integration challenges, supporting testing and go-live activities, and contributing to performance optimization. It is well suited to an experienced SAP integration professional who enjoys solving technical problems in complex enterprise environments.

Design, configure, and implement SAP Convergent Mediation solutions supporting order-to-cash and billing processes on S/4HANA Public Cloud BRIM. Build and maintain interfaces between S/4HANA Public Cloud BRIM and upstream legacy systems for usage data collection, transformation, validation, and rating. Develop and manage integrations with Subscription Billing systems to enable seamless exchange of order, contract, and billing information. Configure and support integrations with third-party Payment Service Providers using the Digital Payments Addon for payment processing, tokenization, and settlement. Design mediation processes, chains, and data flows using streams, sources, transformers, and storage points to process high-volume usage and transaction data. Collaborate with BRIM/CI, Subscription Order Management, Subscription Billing, FI-CA, and other technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into CM design specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve data mediation issues, transformation errors, interface failures, and payment gateway integration problems. Coordinate with upstream and downstream application teams and PSP vendors throughout interface testing, cutover, and go-live activities. Prepare technical design documents, interface specifications, unit and integration test scripts, and support documentation. Participate in performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization activities to improve the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of CM mediation processes. Support SIT, UAT, cutover planning, and hypercare or post-go-live activities. Ensure integrations follow SAP best practices, security standards, and applicable data privacy requirements. Requirements: Proven experience working with SAP Convergent Mediation (CM), preferably within S/4HANA Public Cloud BRIM environments. Strong understanding of integration design, data mediation, transformation, validation, and high-volume transaction processing. Experience integrating BRIM with upstream legacy systems, Subscription Billing platforms, and other enterprise applications. Knowledge of payment integrations and experience working with Payment Service Providers, including payment processing, tokenization, and settlement workflows. Familiarity with SAP BRIM components and related areas such as Convergent Invoicing, Subscription Order Management, Subscription Billing, and FI-CA. Ability to design and manage CM processes, mediation chains, data flows, sources, transformers, and storage points. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose interface failures, transformation issues, and integration defects. Experience supporting SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and post-production support activities. Ability to create clear technical documentation, interface specifications, and test materials. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working across functional teams, technical teams, client application teams, and external vendors. Understanding of SAP security, data privacy, integration best practices, performance tuning, and monitoring. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple technical priorities. Benefits: Full-time remote position.
