SUPO, where required) Why this role matters: As the SAR Spacecraft Harness Design Team Lead, you will play a key role in growing and leading ICEYE's spacecraft harness design capability. You will build and develop a high-performing engineering team responsible for designing reliable, high-quality electrical harnesses for our next-generation satellites. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will help establish engineering best practices, improve development processes, and ensure our harness solutions support the rapid scaling of satellite development and production.   • Your day-to-day responsibilities Lead and manage the “SAR Spacecraft Harness Design Team”
  • Interpret the team OKRs and delegate tasks in order to achieve the domain goals.
  • Mentor and support the professional development of team members, helping them grow in their careers and take on new challenges.
  • Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Define processes and way of working with stakeholders
  • Hire new team members
  • Report progress, risks, and key metrics clearly to upper management and program stakeholders. What we’re looking for Must haves:
  • Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in team leadership or technical lead roles
  • 8+ years of experience in the design and development of electrical harnesses for complex systems, such as spacecraft, aircraft, automotive, or marine applications.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, integration, testing, and qualification of electrical harnesses.
  • Familiarity with standards such as ECSS-Q-ST-20, IPC/WHMA-A-620, SAE ARP1870, NASA-STD-8739. Nice to haves:
  • Experience with CATIA, NX, CAPITAL design tools
  • Experience with PLM or PDM systems for configuration control
