This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an SDET Architect (AI Focus) based in Canada. This role offers an opportunity to shape enterprise-wide quality engineering strategy while advancing the use of artificial intelligence in software testing. You will operate at an Architect or Principal level, combining deep test automation expertise with strategic leadership and technical innovation. The position spans UI, API, integration, performance, and data testing, with a strong focus on scalable and maintainable automation frameworks. You will help establish modern quality standards, strengthen CI/CD governance, and embed intelligent testing capabilities into engineering workflows. The role provides significant influence across Engineering, DevOps, Data Engineering, and Product teams while driving quality transformation initiatives. You will also mentor QA engineers and Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs), helping establish consistent tooling, practices, and governance. This is an ideal opportunity for a senior quality engineering leader who combines strong programming skills with practical AI and Large Language Model (LLM) experience.
