Brite Ideas Inc. is looking for a Truck Driver to join our in-house team. The driver is responsible for driving a 28 ft. Class B truck to transport, pickup, and return equipment deliveries for our events production company as scheduled by supervisor. Responsibilities include maintaining written or telephone contact with the supervisor to receive delivery and/or pickup instructions, shipping and receiving. Additional warehouse organization, and other general warehouse and show duties may be assigned, if applicable, and to be determined during interview.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Driving a Class B 28 ft. truck to transport, pickup, and return equipment.
- Secure and maintain all equipment inside truck and keep track of necessary inventory within possession.
- Responsible for strapping, storing, and securing equipment inside truck.
- Prevent loss and damage to all equipment and vehicles that are under direct supervision..
- Maintain written communication with supervisor regarding necessary preventative maintenance, repairs and other safety or procedural issues.
- Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with company operational policies, procedures, and standards.
- Operate and maintain vehicle in safe and clean condition.
- Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Good driving record. Must be able to present clean DMV driving record.
- Forklift experience. Class B is required, Class A license is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service oriented.
- Customer focus, dependability, teamwork, coordination, organization, time management, and documentation.
- Following safety guidelines is mandatory.
- Final candidates will be required to pass a drug screening and a DOT physical.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Also includes working outdoors in elements/weather.
Additional Information:
- Seasonal Position, Non-Exempt. Hourly rate from $24-$35/hour depending on skill level and experience.
- Reports to Trucking Logistics Coordinator.
- Hours: Standard hours of shop operation are Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm. Position requires flexible scheduling of days worked and may also include weekends and nights, which may result in overtime hours.
