What you will do

Being a lawyer within SEB’s division CIB means working closely with the business units to provide legal advice, produce documentation for the various products and services offered to customers and handle governance and business development matters in an international environment.

CIB Legal is the division’s in-house legal department which provides high quality business enhancing legal services to all business units within the division, based on such units’ and customers’ various needs and requirements. The key responsibilities as a lawyer include advising and liaising with business units, structuring, reviewing, drafting and negotiating agreements and various other legal documentation and engaging in legal research and business development projects.

Who are you?

To be successful in your internship with us, you need to have a genuine interest in financial markets, finance- and banking law and corporate law. You are a service-minded team player with a constructive and solution-oriented mindset combined with high integrity. To have completed at least four semesters of the law degree before the internship start is required, as well as excellent skills in spoken and written Swedish and English.
