Requirements
About the role
We are seeking applications from a qualified Secondary Dance Teacher who is enthusiastic, has excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to Christian schooling and able to teach from a biblical worldview. Successful candidates will join a highly competent and supportive secondary teaching team.
This 4 day a week, 12-month maternity leave position (with the possibility of extension) will commence on Monday, 17 August 2026 (mid-Term 3).
About you
- You have suitable teaching qualifications and are registered with the QCT.
- You can teach Dance and ideally can teach additional junior science and physical education subjects.
- You are a good teacher who produces strong student outcomes.
- You’re willing to receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes in your pursuit of excellence as a teacher.
- You care deeply for your students and desire to see them grow and flourish mentally, physically, socially and spiritually, as they develop the resilience and character to succeed beyond school.
- You have a strong commitment to Christian schooling and are able to teach from a biblical worldview.
- You have an active Christian faith and regularly attend church.
