The programme is designed to build Panama's high-level scientific and technological human capital. The scholarship normally supports up to two years or the approved study-plan duration and requires full-time, in-person study, although a shared/sandwich format may be supported where the programme allows research in Panama. SENACYT may also finance authorised English study to reach B2 or the host institution's required level, potentially for six to eight months and, when authorised, online alongside the academic programme.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be Panamanian nationals, hold a bachelor's-level degree, and seek a master's degree at a recognised international centre of excellence within the call's AI-aligned scope. Applicants must satisfy the programme regulation and documentary requirements published by SENACYT. Final awards depend on SENACYT budget availability.
