At Kpler, we are dedicated to helping our clients navigate complex markets with ease. By simplifying global trade information and providing valuable insights, we empower organisations to make informed decisions in commodities, energy, and maritime sectors.

Since our founding in 2014, we have focused on delivering top-tier intelligence through user-friendly platforms. About the role Kpler’s Sales team is looking for a highly motivated Senior Account Manager to drive growth across our existing banking and financial-institution accounts in North America. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience selling SaaS, data or technology solutions into banks—particularly teams working across commodities, trading, research, market data and risk. You will develop senior relationships across a portfolio of banking clients, identify opportunities to expand Kpler’s footprint and demonstrate how our data and intelligence solutions support better commercial and investment decisions. While banks will be the primary focus, the portfolio may also include selected hedge funds and asset managers.

Responsibilities Manage and grow a portfolio primarily comprising banks and other financial institutions across North America. Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across commodities trading, research, market data, risk and related functions. Identify opportunities to expand Kpler’s solutions across existing banking accounts and consistently meet or exceed annual growth targets. Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business, priorities and use of market intelligence and data. Ensure timely and thorough responses to client requests while maintaining a high standard of account management. Lead account planning, forecasting and multi-year growth strategies for key banking clients. Gather insights on client requirements, market developments, products and competitors to help inform Kpler’s commercial and product strategies. Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity updates and achievable forecasts. Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product and other internal teams to support client retention and growth. Represent Kpler externally with professionalism, credibility and a strong understanding of the banking sector. Contribute to wider corporate projects and initiatives where required.

Requirements Must-have: Proven experience selling SaaS, DaaS, technology or data solutions into banks and financial institutions across North America. A strong network and understanding of relevant stakeholders within banking, ideally across commodities, trading, research, market data or risk functions. A demonstrable track record of growing and retaining complex enterprise banking accounts. Experience managing senior stakeholders and developing multi-year commercial relationships. Knowledge of commodities markets and the ways banks use market data and intelligence. Experience working with hedge funds or asset managers would be beneficial but is not essential. Excellent communication, commercial and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel as required. Highly self-motivated, disciplined and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A collaborative team player focused on long-term client and organisational success. Fluency in English; additional languages would be beneficial.
