As the senior finance representative for our Czech entity in Ústí nad Labem, you will act as the trusted local finance partner, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance and effective collaboration with local management, Group Finance and external stakeholders. In addition, you will support People & Culture topics in close cooperation with our Global People & Culture Team.

Your Responsibilities

Accounting, Reporting & Compliance

  • Own and manage all local accounting activities in accordance with Czech statutory requirements and Group standards
  • Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting for local management and Group Finance
  • Coordinate tax filings and statutory reporting with external advisors and authorities
  • Manage fixed assets, inventory accounting and financial documentation
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Continuously improve accounting processes and internal controls

Financial Planning & Business Support

  • Support budgeting, forecasting and controlling activities
  • Monitor cash flow and liquidity planning
  • Perform financial analyses and variance reporting
  • Act as a trusted financial business partner to local management
  • Support payment processes and receivables management

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate closely with local management, Group Finance and international colleagues
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, payroll providers, banks and authorities
  • Contribute to finance-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives

People & Culture

  • Act as the local People & Culture contact and collaborate closely with the Global People & Culture Team
  • Support the implementation of global People & Culture initiatives, policies and organizational changes for our local organization in the Czech Republic
  • Coordinate selected employee lifecycle activities and ensure smooth collaboration between employees, management and external partners
  • Support local compliance and people-related documentation in line with legal and company requirements

Your Profile

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
  • Several years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally in an international environment
  • Strong knowledge of Czech accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory reporting
  • Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Good understanding of financial reporting, budgeting and cash flow management
  • Experience working with auditors, tax advisors and external service providers
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a hands-on mindset
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Interest in supporting selected People & Culture activities
  • Fluent Czech and English, German is an advantage
