Senior Accountant

ABOUT THE COMPANY General Intuition is the frontier lab for acting in space and time. We build large action models and world models that can perceive, predict, and act across virtual and physical environments. General Intuition builds on the strength of Medal, the world's largest and fastest-growing platform for gaming clips, where millions of gamers capture, share, and discover new games every year. We've raised over $670M from Khosla, GC, Valor, and Point72 since October 2025, and recently closed our latest round at a $6.2B valuation. THE ROLE As Senior Accountant, you'll support US accounting and own its core operations: accounts payable, accounts receivable and Medal billing, and reconciliations. You'll report to our Global Controller and help deliver a month-end close that lands in 5 business days. You'll live in the ledgers, run payment and billing cycles, keep our bank accounts funded, and make sure every balance ties out. You'll help us bring work in-house from our outsourced accounting partner. We need extreme attention to detail, a strong US GAAP foundation, and someone who likes making every close faster and cleaner than the last. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• You own full-cycle accounts payable: invoice intake, coding, approvals, payment runs, reimbursements, card review, vendor communication, and year-end 1099s.
• You own accounts receivable and billing for Medal, which is mostly US: issuing invoices, applying cash, chasing collections, and maintaining the AR aging.
• You own reconciliations: bank, credit card, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts, reconciled every month with clear support.
• You support the US month-end close alongside the Global Controller: booking accruals, prepaids, and other journal entries, and preparing the flux review so we close within 5 business days.
• You manage our US bank accounts, keep them funded ahead of payment runs and payroll, and maintain a rolling cash flow forecast.
• You keep the US ledger clean day to day: accurate coding, up-to-date vendor records, and audit-ready documentation.
• You support revenue recognition, audits, tax filings, and investor or diligence requests with clean schedules and fast answers.
• You're an AI-native operator who uses modern tooling (we run on Rillet and Ramp) to automate manual work and reduce error risk.
• You bring 4 to 7 years of accounting experience, ideally including Big 4 or public accounting and time at a high-growth company. CPA or CPA track preferred.
• Knowledge of EU accounting practices is a plus, especially in the European countries where we operate, as you'll work closely with our European entities on intercompany and consolidation.
• You thrive autonomously in a fast-paced startup: comfortable with ambiguity, extreme attention to detail, happy in the weeds. Bonus: you've taken accounting in-house from an outsourced firm, or worked across multiple entities.
