This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior AI Backend Engineer based in Brazil. This is a high-impact opportunity to contribute to the development of an AI-powered research and analysis platform. You will combine strong backend engineering expertise with deep knowledge of LLMs and agentic systems. The role involves designing scalable backend solutions, integrating AI capabilities, and building reliable data workflows. You will work closely with a small, cross-functional team spanning backend, frontend, full-stack, and DevOps. The position is highly client-facing, offering the opportunity to translate business needs into practical technical solutions. You will have significant ownership over technical delivery and architectural decisions with minimal oversight. As the platform and team mature, there is strong potential to grow into a technical leadership position.
