The role spans backend services, frontend features, APIs, integrations, asynchronous processing, queues/retries, databases and end-to-end feature ownership. The published stack includes PHP 8.4+, Laravel 12, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Redis, Vue.js and Docker. 5Blue offers remote-first work, equipment, 18 paid vacation days plus seven paid sick days, and Deel-based cooperation. Required overlap is at least 09:00–14:00 US Eastern Time, with remaining hours flexible.
Requirements & qualifications
Candidates need strong software-engineering fundamentals, professional experience in a modern backend ecosystem such as Python, Node.js, Go, Java, .NET or PHP, SQL and NoSQL experience, Docker/Docker Compose and collaborative Git workflows. Daily practical experience with AI coding assistants and the ability to review and validate AI-generated code are explicitly required.
