Main Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship native Android applications in Kotlin
- Build modern, responsive UI with Jetpack Compose and the Android Jetpack libraries
- Develop and maintain clean, modular, and scalable architectures
- Own technical decisions and contribute to architecture discussions across the mobile stack
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver high-quality software
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
- Perform code reviews and mentor mid-level and junior developers
- Ensure high standards for performance, stability, security, and maintainability
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and automated testing
- Take part in the full release cycle, including Google Play distribution and post-release monitoring
- Stay up to date with the Kotlin & Android ecosystem and bring improvements back into the team
Qualifications And Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong expertise in Kotlin
- Strong hands-on experience with native Android development
- Solid experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture components
- Strong understanding of modern software architecture patterns (Clean Architecture, MVI, MVVM, modular architecture)
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
- Experience designing asynchronous and concurrent systems using Kotlin coroutines and Flow
- Experience with dependency injection, local persistence, and offline-capable apps
- Strong experience with Git-based workflows
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and clear communication
Nice to have / advantages
- Hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) for cross-platform development — a strong advantage
- Hands-on experience with Compose Multiplatform (CMP) for building shared UI — a strong advantage
- Experience building applications targeting iOS, Web, or Desktop from a shared Kotlin codebase
- Experience integrating Kotlin Multiplatform into existing native apps
- A genuine willingness to chase after new technologies — you experiment early, learn fast, and bring what you find back to the team
- Experience using AI platforms and AI-assisted tooling in the development process
- Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot or Ktor
- Experience with automated testing for mobile or multiplatform projects
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and mobile build pipelines
- Knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, DigitalOcean)
- Experience with multi-platform distribution
